That’s right. Next Wednesday, after the morning harvest, we’re tilling the place to make way for winter cover crops. Good bye greens: hello vetch, field peas, and buckwheat! We decided it was important too feed the soil after a summer of growing so intensively so that the garden will be just as abundant next year! And really, we’re not getting rid of everything–there will be a bed of chard and kale, along with some beets, carrots, and greenhouse greens. And there are still ripe tomatoes coming out of our lovely little greenhouse too! Come roll up your sleeves, lend a hand, and help us put this hard-working little garden to bed. Next Wednesday at 9am…
